Handicapped Ramp Fails
Today, as a project to promote handicapped awareness, I thought I would share my collection of bad handicapped accessable ramps from around the world. I can't believe people are actually supposed to use these. It just makes me wonder what the people who designed these were thinking.
Some of these are good examples of bad engineering. Others just show a complete lack of interest in doing the job right.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. I guess this is a case of where "it's the thought that counts" is not good enough. Welcome to the MS blogging community.

I will always remember something a friend in a wheel chair told me: everyone who is designing handicapped accessible facilities needs to rent a wheel chair for a day or two and try getting around places in it themselves.
